Welcome to the Sunday Orinda Ride Series. We are an all-pace/all-skill training program. We invite everyone – from novice to speedy – to join us. This years series is a late start/shortened training season, which means we will increase mileage just a little faster in the beginning to get caught up with everyone else.

The 6th week of the Sunday Orinda Ride Series takes us out to Danville and beyond. This ride is significantly less hilly than last week, but it is certainly not flat. After our first stop in Danville for a quick break, we’ll head out to Las Trampas Open Space. On our way, you’re likely to see an ostrich or two and if you’re lucky, the zebra will be out and about — no joke. OK, no one ever sees the zebra, but… We’ll head back to Danville for a lunch break, then it’s back to Orinda through Lafayette and El Nido Ranch Road.

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!

Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
