Welcome to the Sunday Orinda Ride Series. We are an all-pace/all-skill training program. We invite everyone – from novice to speedy – to join us. This years series is a late start/shortened training season, which means we will increase mileage just a little faster in the beginning to get caught up with everyone else.
The 10th takes us to some unfamiliar territory. The first part of the route takes us out to Hercules for our first break at Starbucks. From there, we’ll head through Rodeo, over the Carquinez Straits Bridge, and into Vallejo. We’ll get to Benicia (and our lunch break) via Lake Herman Road. Our route back from Benicia is over the Benicia Bridge and into Martinez before continuing on Alhambra Valley Road and the late-in-the-day climbs of Pig Farm Hill, Castro Ranch Road, and San Pablo Dam Road. This route is one BIG loop with no short options, so be sure that you are ready to go the distance with us. This 63-mile (100 kilometer) route is a “metric century” in the cycling world. Will it be your first? Join us! No one gets left behind.

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
