Heavy Rain Cancels
December 1st is World AIDS Day, and Positive Pedalers are hosting a special training ride to commemorate this day with a visit to the Wall Las Memorias AIDS Monument in Lincoln Park, the first publicly funded AIDS monument in the US.
We will meet at Lower Crystal Springs Picnic Area in Griffith Park for a short, simple ride along the river bike path and into Lincoln Park to Wall Las Memorias AIDS Monument. We will gather there for a short vigil and moment of silence to remember all those we have lost, and share our memories and why we ride. We will have the chance to explore the monument before returning to Griffith Park the way we came.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
If you are interested in attending, please RSVP so we have an idea of whose coming. Have questions? Contact Chris Eisenberg at email@example.com
