We are taking you on a 29 mile ride up to the top of Glenoaks Blvd. You’ll think this climb is a breeze as you make your way through seven LA neighborhoods before arriving at the top near Flint Peak, but remember, you haven’t conquered the climb until you’ve, “HIT THE GATE!”
FUBAR’s motto is “Find Strength in the Struggle” Our 8-week climbing series is designed to introduce both new and returning cyclists to climbing. Each week we will add a bit more elevation and a new location to take breathtaking fundraising pics. With no rider left behind, we will climb with you every pedal stroke along the way. We conduct some of the most challenging but rewarding training rides in the SoCal ALC community, with the aim of ensuring that riders are empowered to ride all 545 miles come June.

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(2), tire changing tools, snacks, vaccination cards and ID.
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.
