Welcome to the Marin Marauder’s Progressive Sunday Rides Training Series. The Spring Progressive rides are designed to get you ready for the epic Big ride in June. We start off with smaller rides and build each week until you are riding over 100 miles a day and climbing like a pro. If you take part in this series you will most certainly be ready for ALC 2023. Not only are the rides epic, but the scenery and the people are too. We are a warm and welcoming group of cyclist of all ages and shapes. All AIDS/LifeCycle official training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.
While this ride is considerably shorter than previous rides, the climbing is significant! We will be doing a ride that was rained out earlier and hitting Mt. Tam via Alpine Dam. This is a stunning ride with incredible scenery and climbs.. and climbs.. and climbs! Once we get to Alpine Dam we will take a rest and then head up to the East Peak of Mt. Tam. If you want to shave off 6 miles you don’t have to go all the way to the East Peak. After descending Tam, we will have lunch at Joes Tacos in Mill Valley before returning to Hal Brown. This is not a ride to miss!
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
