Join us as the Marin Marauders Training Group host our summer SOCIAL rides. Between July and October, we hold social rides about every other week. One week, the rides are shorter in length (25 – 45ish miles). The other week the rides are longer in length or harder (50 to 75ish miles). You can choose and pick what rides work for you!!
You DONT have to be an experienced rider, nor do you have to be on the Marin Marauders Team. Heck, you don’t even have to be registered for ALC (but we will probably try to persuade you to get registered) These rides are open to EVERYONE!
This week our route takes us from Hal Brown Park out to Pt. Reyes and back through the stunning Samuel P. Taylor park. Nice rolling hills (a few climbs too) and beautiful scenery await you. The route is at https://ridewithgps.com/routes/22560811/
This is a SOCIAL ride and NOT an official Aids Lifecycle training ride. There is no TRL support, and no route sheets. It’s just a bunch of friends meeting new friends and having a good time.
If you are interested in attending, it would be appreciated if you RSVP so we have a rough idea of whose coming. Have questions? Contact Ken at marinmarauders@gmail.com
REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
Parking: The rangers have politely asked us to NOT park directly in front of the park. Rather park further down Bon Air Road or on the opposite side of the street from the Park. By doing so, we will give greater access to the park to other patrons
