Team Portland is the local group of AIDS/LifeCycle riders and roadies who fundraise and train for AIDS/LifeCycle each year. We welcome everyone to join!

The Banks-Vernonia State Trail is one of the most scenic routes near Portland. The entire ride is on a former rail line through dense forests, including some gentle climbs and even a trestle or two! We’ll time the ride to get lunch in Vernonia before heading back. This is one of the riding gems of Northwest Oregon — don’t miss out!

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.

COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.
