World AIDS Day
December 1, 2021
Dedicate Your Journey this World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day takes place on 1 December each year. It’s an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first-ever global health day.
The theme for the 2021 observance is “Ending the HIV Epidemic: Equitable Access, Everyone’s Voice”.
Share your story about your connection to World AIDS Day. Do you have someone you would like to dedicate the evening to? Who do you participate for?
Tell us in a short video (under 60 seconds) about your connection to World AIDS Day, or why raising money for HIV/AIDS services is important to you. We will share the collection of stories from our community during our World AIDS Day Broadcast and social media to amplify our voices.
Please submit your story no later than November 19th.
