**********THIS IS AN OFFICIAL ALC RIDE**********
FUBAR’s motto is “Find Strength in the Struggle” Each week we will add a bit more elevation and a new location to take breathtaking fundraising pics. With no rider left behind, we will climb with you every pedal stroke along the way. We conduct some of the most challenging but rewarding training rides in the SoCal ALC community, with the aim of ensuring that riders are empowered to ride all 545 miles come June.
Meet one of LA’s most famous climbs, Mt. Hollywood Drive in Griffith Park. This 2.5 mile climb will help you practice your endurance and Positive Mental Attitude (PMA!) Riders have the option to continue the climb up to Griffith Observatory for an additional challenge. If you have seen Griffith Park from the bottom, then join us and enjoy the view from the top!
The route is at:https://www.strava.com/routes/2888930037841984016
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
