Houston: 31/48 Miles Hosted by Houston Area ALC Training Series
November 20, 2022@ 8:15 am - 5:00 pm
31 / 48 Miles, Mostly Flat
Ride ID 707
Meet: 8:15 AM
Ride-Out: 9:00 AM
Houston-Area ALC Training Series
This ride consists of 2 loops, both of which start and end at the Brookshire Convention Center. There are no amenities at ride start but there are several service stations with convenience stores within 1/2 mile of ride start.
One loop is 31 miles, with a rest stop midway in Monaville. A second rest stop is in Pattison near the end of the route.
The second loop is 17 miles. It will take us through the northeast region of Brookshire by Executive Field.
Most of the roads have wide shoulders and, as such, have moderate traffic. We’ll also be on some rural roads with minimal traffic. The area can be windy, and if it is, you’ll have to deal with all types: head wind, tail wind, and cross-wind!
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
