Welcome to the Marin Marauder’s Progressive Spring Fling Sunday Rides. The Spring Fling Progressive rides are designed to get you ready for the epic BIG ride in June. We start off with smaller rides and build each week until you are riding over 100 miles a day and climbing like a pro. If you take part in this series you will most certainly be ready for ALC 2024. Not only are the rides epic, but the scenery and the people are too. We are a warm and welcoming group of cyclist of all ages and shapes. All AIDS/LifeCycle official training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.
This ride in our series takes us over familiar territory out to Fairfax, and over Whites Hill to Pump Espresso Bar near Lagunitas, our first stop of the day. Continuing west, we take the Samuel P Taylor bike path, then tackle the Olema Hill (the easy way) and after a picturesque detour arrive at Point Reyes, where we will enjoy a rest stop at the Bovine Bakery or the Palace Market. Leaving Point Reyes, we head around the top side of the Nicasio Reservoir, and head up, up, up, to the Marin Cheese Factory. A right at Novato Boulevard takes us on a glorious nine-mile (mostly) downhill, to a third rest stop at Marin Coffee Roasters. Heading south, we’ll return via three sections of bike path, back to Hal Brown
The route is at:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44950273/
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools, and a mask.
