Welcome to AIDS/LifeCycle! We’re a 7-day, 545-mile ride to END AIDS! AIDS/LifeCycle is co-produced by the Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation and is designed to advance their shared interest to reduce new HIV infections and improve the quality of life for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Red Dress Day has been a tradition since the beginning of the Ride. The thought was that if everyone dressed in red on this day, the community would look like a giant red ribbon as they traversed the switchbacks on Day 5. Over the years, the community has started new traditions, and the Red Dress Day outfits have become more and more elaborate, inventive and fabulous!

Everyone rides for a reason. Kevin says he rides because, “I wanted to do something to help someone else, because I didn’t really have anyone when it was me coming out.” Why will you ride?

Safety is a core value on AIDS/LifeCycle. We want each and every one of you to make it safely to Los Angeles!  The success of this event depends on each and every one of us practicing safety and taking care of one another.
